The Star-Tainted Banner, 40”x56”– black pigment- coated band-aids and police star badges.
The Star-Tainted Banner is made of 50 star-shaped police badges and hundreds of black pigment-coated band-aids. Several of the band-aids are labeled with the names of unarmed black men and women killed by police*, and many others are deliberately left blank to represent the countless unheard-of victims to police brutality.
