This variation was inspired during a trip to Iceland \u2013 while visiting H\u00f6fn \u00ed Hornafir\u00f0i Glacier Lagoon, I spotted a small iceberg resembling my twisted sponge.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patriciaespinosa.com\/blog\/the-hourglass\/\">Hourglass<\/a> is a public art installation that highlights the pressing challenge of water scarcity. The sculpture takes the shape of a giant, twisted sponge resembling an hourglass, symbolizing the decreasing availability of water resources.<\/p><p>The model Fallen Iceberg merges the urgent issue of water scarcity with the looming threat of rising temperatures, reflecting the interconnected challenges posed by climate change.<\/p><\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section
